Independence Day is now Innovation Day for Tech Trailblazers

Leading independent enterprise tech startups awards opens for entries today

London, UK – 4th July 2016 – While in one part of the world, July 4th is for celebrating events which changed history, it’s also the day for enterprise tech startups around the world to celebrate changing their future, with the 5th series of the Tech Trailblazers Awards now open for entries at www.techtrailbazers.com

Open to enterprise technology startups from anywhere in the world, the Tech Trailblazers Awards celebrates innovation in businesses less than six years old and at C-series funding or below.

Since 2011, the awards have celebrated the hottest global startups in big data, cloud computing, FinTech, IoT, mobile technology, IT security, storage and virtualization. Our winners have raised a total of over $630 million in funding since becoming Tech Trailblazers. Others have successfully exited for a total of over $500 million through acquisition to the likes of Dropbox, Oracle, SANdisk and Zimbra.

New for 2016 are the Female and Male CxO awards (because we’re all about equality), which aim to recognize individual innovation, leadership and diversity in tech startups. This years’ awards also welcome new judges Jennifer Arcuri, founder of Hacker House and Dr. Jacqui Taylor, CEO of Flying Binary to the panel of industry leaders and global influencers.

The Tech Trailblazers Awards are designed explicitly for smaller businesses and tech startups. The awards have low barriers to entry and recognize enterprise tech innovation, helping startups grow their businesses.

Rose Ross, Founder and Chief Trailblazers commented: “As the US celebrates its Independence Day, we’re opening up for entries to celebrate more great innovation from the little guys, from all around the world, who will be the big guys of tomorrow. We are especially excited about opening up for the first time to entries from trailblazing individuals who are championing innovation, diversity, agility and leadership in their startups and the wider tech community.”

The early-bird submission fee is $250 with a deadline of August 4th at 11:59pm PT. Entry forms should be submitted before the closing date of September 8th for consideration by the expert panel.
