Infinit raises Seed funding for ultra-fast file transfers

Paris-based file transfer startup Infinit has raised $1.8 million in Seed funding. Investors include Alven Capital and 360 Capital Partners. The company has built peer-to-peer file sharing platform that it claims is considerably faster than competitors like Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer. It also has no size limits for file transfers. Infinit was previously a part of the Paris-based Le Camping accelerator and is currently being incubated at TechStars NY.

It was founded in early-2012 by Baptiste Fradin and Julien Quintard, and previously raised $440,000 in Angel funding.
