Israel’s biggest tech event is just around the corner, here’s how to join

Israel’s largest tech event, Geektime Techfest, is just around the corner, and tickets are now on sale here.

This year, the festival is taking place at the David InterContinental in Tel-Aviv from June 4-8. Like last year’s inaugural festival, it will have various conferences, exhibitions, meet-ups, hackathons, professional workshops, and more – a huge variety of technology events that will interest anyone who works and lives in the industry.

The event provides attendees with an overview of the innovation ecosystem in Israel, current and future trends and areas of greatest opportunity and a glimpse into the next big startups coming out of the country.

Apart from a jam-packed week of startup awesomeness, the festival will also feature two separate conferences; Geektime Code Elevation aimed specifically at developers, and Geektime Next aimed at startups.

The Geektime Code Elevation will showcase over 1,000 of Israel’s top technology experts, developers, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists for cutting edge sessions on the latest technologies, platforms, and trends.

Geektime Next is the largest and considered to be the premier startup event in the Startup Nation. The event provides attendees with an overview of the innovation ecosystem in Israel, current and future trends and areas of greatest opportunity and a glimpse into the next big startups coming out of Israel.

This year, the organizers decided to expand the competition from 10 startups to no less than 40. As part of the process of preparing for the event, 100 startups that reached the first stage of the competition will benefit from a pitch and presentation workshop with a Geektime team and presentation experts in front of an audience that will help them present their company and their product to investors in the very best way.

If you are an entrepreneur, investor or doing anything else in the Israeli tech industry, this is an event you shouldn’t miss!

Later in the week, a wide range of meet-ups will be held all over Israel on technological subjects and shared events of Israel’s leading technology companies and startups.
