We are a cat-loving, cat-worshipping cat-sitting community that connects cat owners with trusted cat sitters in their area. Our mission is to help cats stay in the comfort of their own home while their owner is away. Cat owners can review, rate and share the best sitters and build long-lasting cat-loving relationships. Cat sitters get to spend time with furry friends and not have to worry about pet bills or long term care, and best of all they get paid! What’s not to love—hanging out with fur babies while earning some extra cash . All cat lovers welcome. Joining is free.

We are a trusted cat sitting community in your neighborhood that understands cats aren’t just pets—they’re part of the family, our confidantes, our BFFs (best furry friends)…let’s face it, they’re our babies.

FOUNDERS

Cat in a Flat is a company set up by Julie Barnes and Kathrin Burckhardt in November, 2014. Being cat owners ourselves, we always found it difficult to go on holiday and leave our cats behind.

We are digital experts and have been working as creative director and senior UX for big and small advertising agencies across London over the last 15 years.

Combining our passion for cats and creating digital platforms, we want to build a community-based network that’s for all cat lovers, whether they’re an owner, sitter, or just love cats.
