Proximity helps you chat and locate your friends off the grid. Just turn on Bluetooth and go. We believe that your surroundings shouldn’t limit your ability to connect!

Think about all the times you were abroad, on the ski slopes, down in the subway, on a cruise or lost in a crowd at a concert with no reception. We created Proximity for all those times you wished you still had a way to communicate with and find your group.

The idea for Proximity came out of a specific need we felt was not being met by any product out in the market. That need stemmed from the inability to locate friends in a crowd (in our case at a concert in Golden Gate Park), compounded by the lack of Internet or carrier connection in that area.
