One of the leading technology conferences will be held entirely online this year, as the COVID-19 pandemic forces scores of major conferences to go virtual.
The organizers of CloudBlue’s Innovators Virtual Forum, to be held on October 12-14, said in a statement that “this year’s event carries on the annual 15-year legacy of convening industry leaders, business executives from world’s fastest-growing ISVs and largest service providers to share ideas and build relationships that will help spark new opportunities in cloud.”
Innovators Virtual Forum is the latest major event to be forced online, canceled or postponed, as a second wave of COVID-19 infections in the US and Europe prompts several governments to tighten restrictions and implement localized lockdowns.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) said this week that its annual meeting of government leaders and CEOs, normally held in January in Davos, will instead take place in May. However, that will only occur if the safety of participants could be guaranteed.
According to CloudBlue, thousands of attendees will be hosted virtually via its conference platform from October 12-14th. This will include MSPs, SIs, telcos, retailers and other IT resellers.
Speakers at the conference include, among others:
Attendees will receive insights on subscription management, channel management and catalog management, and will also listen to stories from software providers expanding their portfolios, as well as from CloudBlue representatives on how the company’s technologies are enabling vendors to better engage with more markets.
