FirstOpinion logoFirst Opinion, a mobile app that matches patients up with doctors for quick answers to common medical issues, has raised $1.4 million in new funding from True Ventures and Felicis Ventures. Once matched up with a doctor, the app allows users to text questions in order to get initial feedback.

The San Francisco-based company was founded last year as an app for expectant moms by CEO McKay Thomas and CTO Jay Marcyes. The team previously raised just over $1 million from investors that include 500 Startups and Greylock Partners.
