Nezasa raises $800K in new Seed funding to compete in the personalized travel business

Nezasa screenshotNezasa, a Zurich-based startup competing in the increasingly crowded personalized travel booking market, has raised $800,000, the company announced today. Investors include Paul Sevinç and Myke Näf, founders of online scheduling service Doodle, and Gregory Gerhardt, founder of Amazee Labs and Amazee Metrics.

The company offers a one-stop travel booking platform that includes customizable itineraries and integration with local tour operators that can recommend specific accommodations and activities at users’ destinations. It currently operates in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Japan, India and Thailand. Nezasa was founded in 2012 by CEO Manuel Hilty and CTO Andreas Furer, and previously raised $370,000 in Seed funding.
