Founder Showcase, organized by the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator Founder Institute, takes place tomorrow, April 28, from 10am to 1pm U.S. Pacific Time.
Those interested can register at no cost here.
Founded in 2008, the virtual event features hundreds of startups, investors and founders. Startups from around the world will pitch their ventures to leading investors and venture capitalists.
The keynote of Founder Showcase will be CEO of GAN which is a highly-curated community of independent accelerators, corporates, and investors. GAN connects startups to the human and financial resources they need so that entrepreneurs and the cities they call home become increasingly whole.
He’s also Managing Partner of GAN Ventures, the VC fund associated with GAN.
Founder Institute was founded in 2009 by Adeo Ressi and Jonathan Greechan. The idea for the organization came from operating TheFunded.com, where it became apparent that many entrepreneurs lacked the structure and support network needed to be successful.
At the organization CEO Adeo Ressi and his colleagues train people to become entrepreneurs in a three-month course. He says that many people who come through the program don’t have the DNA to succeed.
“Can I override their genetic makeup to make them an entrepreneur?” he asked in an earlier talk he’d given. As it turns out, he can.
Today Founder Institute is in 65 countries across over 180 cities.
