HouseCall gets $1.5M in new funding for its home services search and booking app

San Diego-based HouseCall has raised $1.5 million from Canter Capital, with participation from KGC Capital. The startup offers mobile app that allows users to find and book home services from local providers. The founders, CEO Ian Heidt, Reza Olfat, Adam Perry-Pelletier, Roland Ligtenberg, and Chris Zwickilton, previously founded Qualcomm Labs—an incubator focused on new wireless product development. HouseCall was founded in late 2013, and previously raised $1.5 million from e.ventures.
