One of the world’s largest cloud ecosystems and digital commerce platforms, Ingram Micro Cloud said in a statement today that it’s become the first distributor in Canada to offer Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions in the public sector.
The industries impacted include healthcare, education, public administration, defense and non-profits.
The distribution program, which came to being after Ingram Micro Cloud Canada became an AWS Public Sector Partner, will also leverage extensive expertise from the enterprise’s AWS team and programs, including support from more than 100 AWS Certifications.
“Working together with AWS, Ingram Micro Cloud and its partners will help drive the digital transformation of public sector organizations in Canada. Through its vast partner network, Ingram Micro Cloud will help deliver AWS services to communities across the country, large and small alike,” said Jason Prashad, Director of Cloud, Canada, at Ingram Micro Cloud.
Canada remains significantly under-represented on the global stage, particularly when considering all the advantages, including world-class research institutions, top engineering talent, and a diverse and highly educated workforce.
Earlier this month Ingram Micro Cloud Canada selected as the winner of two high-profile awards by Microsoft, including the Indirect Cloud Solution Provider of the Year IMPACT Award and Modern Marketing IMPACT Award. According to the company, the “well-earned recognition reflects Ingram Micro’s steadfast commitment to serving our partners with best-in-class technology solutions that accelerate their cloud journey and grow their business.”
