Nisum will take part in RetailClub AI Festival 2026 as the retail industry looks to move artificial intelligence projects beyond experimentation and into production. The global consulting firm will participate as a Level 2 sponsor, with a focus on how technology leaders can determine which AI initiatives are worth scaling.
The event, created by the founders of Shoptalk and Groceryshop, will take place September 22 to 24 in Huntington Beach, California, bringing together around 2,000 retail leaders, brand executives and technology providers.
From pilot to P&L
Nisum will host two “Breakthru Experiences” at booth #312, featuring Sajid Mohamedy, a Nisum board member. The session, “From Pilot to P&L: An Unfiltered Guide for Retail Technology Leaders,” will examine why some AI pilots stall while others move into production and what that difference means for the P&L.
The sessions are scheduled for September 23 and 24. The company will also meet with retail technology leaders and host a bonfire gathering for clients and guests.
Nisum has worked in retail and commerce for more than 25 years and has more than 1,500 engineers and consultants. Its work spans digital transformation, customer engagement, AI first platform engineering, data and cloud modernization, and AI and agentic solutions.
The company identifies four areas for its retail work: customer growth and personalization, AI powered margin growth, unified and agent ready commerce, and data and AI for retail performance.
Its participation comes as retailers face a practical question around AI adoption: which experiments can generate enough business value to justify the investment required to scale them.
