CyberX Labs, a Tel Aviv-based security startup focused on preventing and mitigating cyber attacks on critical corporate networks, has raised $2 million in Seed funding. Investors include Glilot Capital Partners, Swarth Group and GlenRock. The company is focused on securing the “industrial Internet”—businesses in energy, water, and manufacturing, for example. It applies deep analysis and unique anomaly detection to help secure the networks of these increasingly connected sectors.
It was founded in 2013 by Omer Schneider and Nir Giller, both veterans of the Israeli Defense Forces cyber-security unit. CyberX is a graduate of the UpWest Labs accelerator, which included $20,000 in Seed money—the company’s only previous outside funding.
