DIFFERENTIATORS VS. THE COMPETITION
Houston’s key differentiator is that it focuses on tapping into pre-launch email lists to get feedback and valuable insights from early adopters. There are plenty of products out there that let startups build email lists and email them, but none that allow startups to take the extra step of getting insightful, actionable feedback from their earliest users.
Matt and Jason are both young Canadian entrepreneurs. They met in university and have continued to work together on projects since then. Their most recent startup was Brownie Points, a mobile customer loyalty platform for brick and mortar businesses. Houston is inspired by Matt’s and Jason’s desire to build simple tools that help other young entrepreneurs launch successful startups.
