FOUNDERS’ STORY
Lukas Toma, co-founder and Data Scientist at Knoyd, data science enthusiast, formerly founded Data Science department at Ulmon GmbH (Vienna, Austria) and was Senior Data Scientist and early employee at Kreditech Holding GmbH (Hamburg, Germany). Has MSc in Artificial Intelligence with full EMEA Excellence Scholarship from Polytech Nantes (France) and BSc in Applied Mathematics from Masaryk University (Czech Republic). Worked on a variety of student projects related to Machine Learning during studies, two of which spun off into startup companies.
Juraj Kapasny, co-founder and data scientist at Knoyd, data mining enthusiast, data scientist at Teradata (Vienna, Austria). Former intern at Department of Rating and Scoring Models in Unicredit (Prague, Czech Republic). Studied applied mathematics at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) and University of Vienna (Austria). At Teradata I have worked on many customer specific project across industries like Telco, Finance or Automotive, helping customers to gain additional insights and value from their data.
