Bloomfire, which offers businesses a social, real-time employee learning/training app, has announced the closing of a $10 million Series A round. Primary investors are Austin Ventures and Redpoint Ventures.
Baby-products etailer The Honest Company has secured a big $27 million in Series A funding. The company was co-founded by actress Jessica Alba and investors include General Catalyst Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Institutional Venture Partners. (full story via Mashable)
