Ingram Micro Cloud was among 38 companies to win the 2020 Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing, deemed leaders in the cloud.
The Business Intelligence Group, which oversees the awards, announced the winners yesterday. The organization was founded to recognize talent and performance in the business world. Unlike other award programs, business executives judge the winners.
“We are excited by this recognition, as it demonstrates that our efforts to ensure the success of our partners are paying off,” said Nimesh Davé, president of Ingram Micro Cloud.
“This award is an honor and we look forward to continuing to lead the way in building greater ecosystems in cloud,” added the executive.
The awards are provided each year to tech enterprises from around the world, via the organization’s scoring system that measures performance across business domains and rewards companies throughout various areas of businesses and technology.
Said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of Business Intelligence Group, “Each and every one is helping in their own way to make our lives richer everyday. We are honored and proud to reward these leaders in business.”
According to reports, the global cloud computing market size is expected to grow from $371.4 billion in 2020 to $832.1 billion by 2025, compounding at a 17.5% rate each year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, global enterprises have increasingly providing customers with cost-effective and productive digital solutions as every industry is economically hard-hit from the pandemic.
The shutdown of offices has increased the demand for cloud solutions and services.
