Newark, Delaware-based Lima has completed a $2.5 million venture funding round, the company’s first outside capital raise after its successful $1 million-plus campaign on Kickstarter last year. The investment came from Partech Ventures. The startup makes a small device that stores mobile content. It plugs into any phone and any mobile operating system, allowing users to access their files on my device.
The company was founded in late 2011 by Gawen Arab-Laffon and Severin Marcombes. Its Kickstarter campaign raised $1.229 million via 12,840 backers.
