Addvocate, a cloud-based application that enables enterprises to more effectively turn employees into brand advocates via their social media activities, has raised $2 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Rogers Venture Partners and includes Angel investor Karen Riley. The San Francisco-based startup was founded in 2012 by Abraham Williams and former Salesforce.com executive Marcus Nelson. The team previously raised $539K in Seed funding.
